Setting up epsxe 2.0.51/1/2024 Fixes to the core which made more games playable or better working. Added a new option in the cheat codes window to download cheat codes from the ePSXe version (Thanks to ) Fixed the cheat codes support when running on the interpreter mode. Now it should be able to run the PSX2PSP isos bigger than 2GB as Final Fantasy VIII PSP pack. Besides when using a gamepad in digital mode, now you can use the left stick as the dpad. In the INPUTCORE plugin, swapped the vibration actuators when using the Xinput mode (to match to real PSX Left/Right). (It could improve some effects, for example the burning photo on the start of Castlevania) It includes a basic 2-thread mode, and 2 extra modes adding soft/hardware effects. Added new threading modes to the Pete OpenGL2 Core Plugin. (This option is better when the CPU is slower). The PC CPUs are faster than Android CPUs, so it will improve less FPS. Ported the GPUCORE threading mode from the Android version. This version is compatible using local netplay with the rest of ePSXe versions from the version 2.0.5 (MacOSX, Linux x86, Linux 圆4 and Android - version 2.0.6). Ported the local netplay from Android (Experimental). Now it should be easier to fix problems in all versions. Video plug in is psx emulation cheater 2.5 (otherwise I use Pete’s Open GL2).ĮDIT 2: Another thing that’s just started happening sometimes trying to press ‘X’ in submenus in DW1 (mostly after battles where you press X to go through dialogue) seems to not be working, even though general playing works.until it doesn’t.- Updated the x86 recompiler to use the same recompiler than in the rest of versions (Android, Linux 圆4, Mac. Also, if it helps, the game I’ve had issues with is Digimon World 1 (specifically the American version of the rom, not the PAL version), which is pretty much the only reason I have the emulator to begin with.Īny help that can be given would be so appreciated! If more information is needed, just let me know and I’ll give what I can! As far as I know I have the most up to date version (I’ll double check which version specifically when I get back to my laptop), and I’ll also double-check my plug-ins as well. It’s NEVER been this bad before, but now for seemingly no reason, ePSXE just doesn’t register gamepad input at all. it works somewhat, but these are PSX games they were never intended to be widescreen so while some game may work, others, like crash, will have issues. I need this to play Bomberman with 5 players, using 1 Xbox 360 controller and 4 direct input controllers. you can use the widescreen hack (options gte hacks) and in the software plugin set 16x9 in 2.0.5. If i use the PS2 plugin 'lilypad' this works, but the multipad not works, while in ePSXe default plugin this works. Nothing,Īt this point I’m about to tear my hair out. On my ePSXe 2.0.5 for Windows, i can assign only keyboard and xinput controllers to PS1 pad, but not direct input pads. Reset ALL the configuration fields for game pad input. Restarted ePSXE, opened game pad configuration, hit okay, and still nothing. So I did the usual, reset ePSXE, tried again, nothing. However, it got to a point where resetting didn’t work, and reconfiguring the controller then starting the game again also didn’t work,ĭecided I was sick and tired of having to constantly stop/start my game because ePSXE just decided “nah” with the controller, so begrudgingly I’ve swapped back to just using keyboard inputs, which worked fine.for a while, Then tonight, guess what? Without fully closing down ePSXE I reset my game, and the game pad input stopped working. Just to make it clear, whenever I go to the game pad configuration, it always registers the controller as being connected, so it isn’t like ePSXE doesn’t know it’s there. Then move the plug-ins into the plug-ins folder. Move the PlayStation 1 BIOS ( Scph1001.bin ) into the bios folder. Organize them into ePSXe's folder as shown above. Sometimes just completely closing ePSXE and reopening fixed it, and other times I would have to go to the game pad configure screen, hit okay, then open the game and it would be fine. After you download the BIOS and plug-ins, extract them from their zip files. Now, understandably this was frustrating. I used a wired Xbox 360 controller, but it would sometimes just stop recognising the input in game, often after I reset (pressing escape to go back to the “ePSXE” screen, then hitting the reset option.) Well, when i configure a 2D or 3D game, i Save particular setting for each game. So sometimes my controller input just.stops working. currently i have 2 different installation folder for ePSXE: one installation folder for ePSXe 1.7.0, that i use to run at 60fps FF VII PAL version (it doesn't work at 60fps with the latest 2.0.5 version) and the other one for the 2.0.5 installation that i usually use. Hi r/emulators! I’m having a very frustrating issue with my ePSXE emulator.
